not necessarily in the sense of those crazy kicks to the ribs and head but these guys have some hits of their own. Silva has the definition of knees and elbows.

No prediction on who's going to win, it should be a good one.
Hendo's clinch game is enough to neutralize Silva's knees. Both have knockout power although the chin strength goes to Dan. Ground game is up in the air, Silva has good BJJ but Hendo is a strong wrestler and experienced enough to know his submission game, so I'd rate them even.

With Couture leaving the UFC suddenly (and disgruntled), and Fedor having a 2 year contract with bodog, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

In fact the UFC is pressing charges against Couture for promoting other organizations (IFL)

I don't know if the link posted above me had to do with this, but Couture just signed with HDnet fights. So the second he is free from his contract (his employment contract is the problem, not his fighting contract) with Zuffa, they are scheduling a Fedor-Couture showdown promoted by HDnet in Dallas I believe.

Wow, I couldnt have been more wrong.

silva by rnc, but it wasnt superior positioning or jiu jitsu, it was the knee and the left right that stunned hendo, then it was just a matter of time for silva.

wow, who is going to even put up a fight now against spider? he talked about challenging a pro boxer to a boxing match and he said moving up in weight does not interest him as much as moving down. could you imagine, him at 170? that would be a tough cut, he walks at 210-220, he'd have to diet down a lot.

Damn it, with like 10 seconds left, couldn't Silva have been a sport and give just one more round...:p

Kongo was such a dissapointment. Hes one of my favorite up and comers. Along with Rashad Evans (I chose him to win TUF). I thought he could have been more impressive in the third round. And I dont even want to get started on Hendo, that was the ultimate dissapointment. You dont expect an olympian to be out wrestled.

Wasn't necessarily a matter of being out wrestled.. An olympic wrestler can wrestle through alot of positions without having to worry about falling into a submissive situation. Silva is a Black Belt in BJJ. That is by no means to be taken lightly. And standing with Silva wasn't working out to well, to say the least.

MMAWeekly, Sherdog, and Nokaut all currently rank Anderson Silva as the number one middleweight in the world. As of October 25, 2007 Sherdog ranks Silva as the top pound-for-pound fighter in the world ahead of Quinton Jackson and Fedor Emelianenko.

                            Wins 21
                            12 Knockouts
                            4 Submissions
                            Losses 4
                            1 DQ (illegal kick)
                            2 Submissions
                            1 Decision

This guy is not going anywhere. He is also the current Cage Rage World middleweight champion, the longest-reigning champion in that promotion. His camp, Casa Preta (Black House), was started with fellow badasses Lyoto Machida, Vitor Belfort, Assuerio Silva, and the Nogueira brothers (one of which just beat Tim Sylvia for interim HW Title).

Same with Yahoo, they rank him #1, rightfully so.

what I am VERY stoked about. I just got an email from the UFC newsletter..... RASHAD EVANS Vs. chuck lidell. Rashad is by far my #1 favorite fighter ever, and chuck is by far my #1 hated fighter ever. Ive been waiting for this to take place. Bitches here in San Luis Obispo talk shit all day long about me liking rashad, and how they want to suck chucks dick. I cant wait til Rashad fucks old ass chuck liddell up. Im pumped

It will be awesome to see Rashad go at Liddell for sure but I'm still getting over what would have been. Up until a few days ago, Liddell was actually going to fight Shogun Rua! Shogun tore some ligaments in his knee and that's why Rashad is in. Sucks! Shogun was from the same camp as Wanderlei Silva and I know he would have gone in there and avenged his loss...
