yeah, Varner broke his hand early and then didn't use it for a good while. He acted like the glancing knee knocked him fuzzy so he could quit because of his hand. The crowd knew it and booed him big time. Now, I'm not saying he shouldn't have given in but throwing in the towel due to a broken hand is a legit way to end the fight. It's a possible career ending injury if the hand gets mangled, but to pretend it was the foul knee was a punk move and he knew it.

It was later in the fight so it had to go to the cards and i agree that it could have gone his way in the split due to the whole fight. I got to talk with "cowboy" later that night and he was really disappointed but also really smashed up. Before Varner's hand blew up he had both of cowboy's eyes questionable.

Agree with everything in the first paragraph. He kept saying that he couldn't see. There's no way that knee that grazed the side of his head would have done that. Really shitty actor.

I bet "Cowboy" felt pretty ripped off... he took a fucking beating in the first few rounds, but I think he was going to pound Varner as the 5th round went on.

Cowboy was about to take charge but then again it was because the guy's hand went MIA. Hard not to get beat with only one weapon. He couldn't even grip on the ground.

I think George will win due to being at his prime weight and conditioning (and skill), but I'll be rooting for BJ as I think his hands and ground skill may take him to a decision or even stop the fight.

I too would like BJ to win but have a feeling GSP will take it. I'm sure it's going to be an awesome fight regardless. Definitely looking forward to it.

I really like both Machida and Silva. It's kinda shitty that they're fighting each other but it should also be a very good fight. What's more fkd up is how Machida hasn't gotten a title shot yet. It seems he won't be getting one after this fight either.

BJ Let me down HUGE, I love him to death, but he just needs to fight at 150, in his weight class. GSP Dominated, and is probably the gnarliest fighter I have ever seen. And he will continue to get better.

But man, BJ, you gave up in round three, whats the deal...
