Went to some local fights this weekend, please never go see First Strike cage fighting. You cant really see anything because all the views are obstructed.

Ive been watching the WEC on VS this past week.. they have some pretty good fights/fighters on there.

Me either, I rarely watch T.V but this past week the internet has been down and they had fights on everytime i put it on. Usually late night. from like 9ish till about 3.

Fedor does not let you get away with mistakes. His reactions were great. Arlovski should have kept it tight and not gotten excited by a push kick. He should have never left the ground.

Fedor hits incredibly hard so you cannot let yourself get in his way. Andre made a mistake and that was his last.

I'm not sure what people are waiting to see befroe they admit that Fedor is the unstoppable right now. Nobody in Heavyweight has a chance against him right now.

In other news, I'll be in SD to see Faber v Pulver so I'm excited about that. Should be a good fight as I think it'll go the distance again. Some other fights are on that card that should be good too. I'll hit up Diego Sanchez' after party so maybe that'll be cool too. I'm hoping to get some pics and signatures for the kids I teach.

It wasn't a tough call to make haha. I can't honestly think of one person in MMA that can beat Fedor. Cro Cop gave him a good fight and it went the distance but I think Mirko is washed up now. Fedor is just a fucking machine.

The title fight was horseshit. They should have ruled it a no contest.

yeah, Varner broke his hand early and then didn't use it for a good while. He acted like the glancing knee knocked him fuzzy so he could quit because of his hand. The crowd knew it and booed him big time. Now, I'm not saying he shouldn't have given in but throwing in the towel due to a broken hand is a legit way to end the fight. It's a possible career ending injury if the hand gets mangled, but to pretend it was the foul knee was a punk move and he knew it.

It was later in the fight so it had to go to the cards and i agree that it could have gone his way in the split due to the whole fight. I got to talk with "cowboy" later that night and he was really disappointed but also really smashed up. Before Varner's hand blew up he had both of cowboy's eyes questionable.
