Werdum is overrated after his win against Fedor.

Werdum's stand-up isn't even close to top ten caliber. He gets Overeem, K1 champion, for his first fight in the tourney. He also hasn't had a fight in a year. Werdum is one of the top HWs on the ground, but I just see all the cards stacked against him.

I'll take that action on the fight as well :) - I'm on the west coast and we get it three hour delay so please don't PM me until Sunday (or I'll contact you).

Werdum got lucky against a dry Fedor, and people act as if he's some giant killer. Antonio Silva proved what many of us have thought for years, that Fedor has been over the hill for years.
Fabricio isn't even a mediocre striker for a HW. He was cut from the UFC after dos Santos KOed him.

I don't see that happening, at least not for a few more fights from Story. Story is riding a strong wave but I'd like to see him not try jumping too far ahead before he's ready. Just thinking of him fighting Fitch, I get the feeling Fitch would beat him.

Despite not seeing any KO's, I thought the card was pretty entertaining.

I liked watching the Mir fight, and I think Roy has a head of steel! Some of the knees thrown by Mir would probably kill me.. The endless takedowns against the fence were pretty cool too, and I'm sure thats a big reason Mir was so gassed.

I agree Rampage has definitely lost a step or two, but I like knowing that it can end at any moment. He showed that he can throw a leg kick, so why the fuck doesn't he ever use it???????? I think that alone would make him 10x more lethal..

Story is a badass, cant wait to see him fight more top tier guys. Maybe a fight against Fitch?

Mir can whoop ass more than that. I felt like he was holding back enough to control the fight to win. He was smart to keep Country close most of the fight. Roy needs to lose some weight bad. But you're right, Mir clearly won.

Totally agree. specially against a guy like Matt who was trying to stay away from the fists. I didn't mean to say Rampage was not a threat. The guy has a serious stand up.

Yup bring on the fighters against Story. He needs to clean up his stand up but he's the real deal. Strong as hell for his size.
