Anybody else pumped about the GSP v Shields fight?? This is as stacked of a card as you could really hope for:

GSP vs Shields
Jose Aldo vs Mark Hominick
Randy Couture vs Lyoto Machida
Benson Henderson vs Mark Bocek
Nate Diaz vs Rory MacDonald
Jake Ellenberger vs Sean Pierson


All of those fighters put on good fights, and are bound to be interesting. The only one I see as potentially being boring is the Couture fight. But the clash of styles alone should make it a good one to watch!

I thought he was going to be good, but I didn't want to let myself get drawn into the hype. Well, I've most definitely bought into it now.. He looks like a video game character the way he fights, he does the stuff we all do when we play: flying knee to start, followed by head kicks and whatever flashy stuff we can pull off. Unreal.

I haven't seen Rashad impose any real wrestling in his last couple fights. He's got quick hands, but I think Jones will be able to keep Rashad out of takedown range. I predict a complete dismantling of Rashad by round 2 unless he can dance around and avoid the freight train that is Jon Bones Jones.

That was insane. Never did I think Jones would singlehandedly destroy Shogun like that.

Although i kept yelling at the TV when Jones sat in Shogun's guard lol I really thought shogun would've tried for some submission attempts..

Predictions for Jones v Evans? After watching Jones' last 4 fights, I've bought into the hype that it'll take a monster to stop him..

I know right? He hasn't had a single fight in the UFC where he even looked to be having a hard time. Then again Machida was kinda the same way and Shogun knocked that fucker out, so I am not going to pull a Joe Rogan and proclaim this the "Jones Era"

On another topic, the Light Heavyweight belt hasn't been defended successfully really since 2007. In comparison Anderson Silva has been the Middleweight champ since then, same for GSP. I think that is a testament to how stacked the LHW division is as well as how dominant GSP and Silva are. I thought the same of BJ Penn though as well so who knows, their time may be up.
