What was the magnitude of the first one?

I experienced a pretty large magnitude earthquake when I was 15 or so, and I have to say it was pretty damn cool. It was around 7.5-7.8 I think and I was in science class with oil lamps on all of the tables. I watched them slide around and fall off and explode on the ground one by one. it was crazy watching the ground roll and all of the kiddies freak the fuck out.

They're calling the 4.5 one in Olney an aftershock, but whatever.

The original one was 5.2 - definitely not a 7, but big enough to cause slight damage.

Yeah I though somebody was shaking me to get up, then i looked up and nobody was their and jumped up like wtf..looked around and shaking. I herd all the noise thinking it was a thunderstorm and we was getting hit by a tornado so i looked out side while it was shaking but it was so clear out.... I was like earthquake? It was a really cool experience. I was expecting stuff to start falling off the wall and come crumbling down..
