I attend the ceremonys each year at the graves. My grandfather is a WWII vet but is dead now (died in the late 1970's) also my grandmothers brothers and brother in laws have fought in Germany and one got killed by a sniper over their.

I made out again this year.
On the way I cut through downtown early in the am. At my intersection there was a transit bus that pulled out into the lane as I was prepping the right turn. So I downshifted and turned in front of him.
Next thing I see is the cop car with lights behind me.
Long story short, the officer sees my 30 flags, asked me what I was doing. Told him about putting flags out on Memorial Day and he let me go on my way.
Good karma!
