Still the greatest Top Gear segment to date. Clarkson flogging the M3 CSL and the 3.0 CSL, then the boys out driving the M3, the M5, and the M1. Classic.

I don't know. It would be much better if Hammond didn't refer to the MY94 or MY95 E34 M5 and a "1988 Series II." Still, it was nice to see some E34 M5 footage.

I've only seen the bit where May drives the M1 (which also has it's share of inaccuracies,) Hammond drives the M5, and the M3. I haven't seen the portion with the E9/E46 CSL's. Anyone have a link?

Agreed, I love it. Abviously the production car will not be as radical, but I think they are spot-on with the design concept. It's time for BMW to make something that can compete with the Gallardo/R8/911 Turbo

the m1 should just be a e87 m car, even though theyre making a 135i with the N54 motor from the e92 335i (i think), and if gt5 prologue has an reputability, a 1 series tii as well

Looks like they took the new Charger, drove it head first into an embankment, and put BMW badges on it.

But the back end is pretty supercar-ish, kind of cool looking.

No way. No F1 parts should be recycled. I'm not a real purist, but I have a spot for that car.
