Hey man, screw Josh and his car :).
You seemed to look and feel good the couple of times that I've see you. I hope the majority of your time is spent like that!

I know I am new to the forum but I wanted to add in on this. It's good to see that you are keeping your head high on this. I am going through something a little similar right now and I know it can be hard to move forward. Just smile, laugh, and look on the bright side of things. That will do more for you than any medicine. As for my issue. I am 22 and I was diagnosed with a brain tumor a few weeks ago, just had it removed last wends. But I am still waiting the results from the biopsy of the tumor. Still don't know if it is cancerous or not. They said since they couldn't get all of it out I am going to have to go through radiation therapy most likely. Shit is scary as hell.

Mostly, I fight the ill effects so I can power throughout the day. Usually the 3-4 days after treatment are the worst but I've been able to manage through them well.

I know the feeling of waiting on your biopsy results and all I can say is just don't forget to breathe. My blood pressure was ridiculous during the weeks up to my diagnosis. No matter what the first thing you have to decide to do is live. Doctors are horrible for robing you of hope which sucks because one thing all cancer survivors tend to have in common is a positive attitude. You have to fight hard to keep it because hope deferred makes the heart sick.

No matter what you're in my prayers.

That all sounds like a tough road but it's good to hear that you have your head in the right place.

              Just a little weekend update..

Feeling great this weekend, 100% normal. I went to work today for 4hrs, helped a co-worker move his furniture out of his apt. into his new home and then proceeded to work the rest of the day in the garage. Spent the evening eating and watching movies with the wife.

My PET scan is this upcoming Monday. I'll be sure to post the results as I am confident that they will have very positive results.

              Only 2 more treatments left!

How are things going for you man? Have you had your surgery? Did you get away without needing any follow up radiation?

That's true. Your thinking has a lot to do with the outcome of situations like this. My cousin was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago and the doctors said it had progressed to the terminal stage. They told her that she had less than 6 months to live but that was more than a year ago.

I'm prepping for radioactive iodine treatments, to start. I was amazed that I'll not be able to touch/hold my kids for a few days after it starts. I can't really do anything that involves their daily routines, or even be around them for the first few days.. I'm also scheduling a second opinion to satisfy my wife's worry. I had the biopsy done on the larynx, which sucked, big time.. waiting on those results.
