By far one of the people Ive looked up to most in my life. Ive seen him 3 times. I cant get enough of his stuff. He was an unbelievably intellectual human being. I will truly miss him. Now all 3 of the holy trinity are gone. Richard Pryor/George Carlin/Lenny Bruce.

I'll never forget going to a live show in Cleveland in the early eighties. I was sixteen or seventeen at the time. My buddies and I got so drunk before the show I thought I was going to throw up and pass out right there in the theatre. I actually laughed myself sober.

The master himself, quite possibly one of the greatest stand up comics of all time, has died at the age of 71.

Fucking weak. I don't think I've ever laughed harder at stand-up comedy specials than at his. I'm seriously bummed. I could give a fuck when wastes of skin like Anna Nicole or Chris Benoit punch out, but when someone who actually has talent and was a quality entertainer goes, it really sucks. I've been a die-hard George Carlin fan since I was like 13. I have all of his specials on VHS/DVD, and most of his books.
