God I hate the fucking cock sucker Eagles. How do you let Bdawks sign with Denver? The end of an era, I hope they go 0-16 next year.Leave a comment:

He has proven people wrong. Hes not the one who gave up a game winning drive.Leave a comment:

Sounds like some other quarterback that I know of......
Just kidding, I've come to respect all that McNabb has done and I think a lot of the criticism is undeserved. Then again, he has had more than enough chances to prove everyone wrong.Leave a comment:

Phillip Rivers - Swagger and that fire you really want in a QB. Has a weird delivery, but who cares? Hes got what Id want in a QB
Ben Roethlisberger - Hes been the beneficiary of good defenses behind him. I wouldnt start a team with him, but he isnt a bad QB to pick if you have a veteran team already. I would imagine Rivers or Manning would have a 2 rings also if they had been drafted by pitt.
Eli Manning - Dumber than dirt look on his face at all times, and i absolutely hate him. Im totally biased, so I will stop there.
Romo will not be an elite QB, so you can take him out of that mix. He chokes, and wont ever win a meaningful game.Leave a comment:

Feel the same way, its hard living in SD telling people I would rather have BigBen.
Some of the younger guys do look promising, but I am sure some will get screwed by coaches, crappy lines or crybaby receivers.Leave a comment:

Ben Roethlisberger- not only is he a good quarterback, but I've never seen anyone have so much luck on their side
Philip Rivers- good at everything, just not great......yet
Eli Manning- just because he was one of the three that you listed
On a side note, I think that the NFL has another golden age of quarterbacks looming on the horizon.
Rivers, Romo, Ryan, Cutler, Flacco, Quinn
If you like offense, the next decade shows some promise.Leave a comment:

Hey Jflip, and everyone else who cares. Rate these QBs in order of who you would want on your team; Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger.Leave a comment:

just your everyday, last minute, super bowl winning, full extension, two toes inbounds in the corner of the endzone, over three defenders, catch. :nice:

Lol, he was a full foot in bounds and wasn't moving very fast if at all at that point. Ball right to him, feet clearly WELL inside the end zone. So yes any other reciever would have done the same.Last edited by joshh; 02-03-2009, 01:22 PM.Leave a comment:

man this is dumb.
great catch. period. fully extended, toes barely in bounds. one play after letting one go straight through his hands. he should've caught that one in the left corner.Leave a comment:

Yeah cause every receiver would have dropped there toes barely in bounds to make the game winning catch... Just routine. :roll:Leave a comment:

I think Id be pretty biased. I hate Ohio State, and I hate Pittsburgh. But it was just a beautiful catch at the end of an amazing game.
On a different note, I feel this feeling of relief now that the football season is over. No more ups and downs for 16+ weeks. No more devoting my entire sunday to footballa, and nothing else. Just relaxing and waiting for the draft. I wish I could take my average blood pressure during football season and during the offseason.Leave a comment:

No, it was a catch any reciever would have made, making it a routine catch. Perfectly thrown right to him. He did his job and at the right time.
Importance is what you guys aren't differentiating from the routine catch.Leave a comment:

joshhtool is arguing any receiver could have made that catch and every receiver is expected to make a catch like that under those circumstances.
How much do you lose on the over/under on that game joshhtool?Leave a comment:
