Blah, Niners just need to get their shit together.

I don't think going with an old-ish quaterback for a young-ish team is a good move IMO.

Good for the niners, bad for warner. The setup he had last year was perfect for him; a spread offense and great receivers to throw to.

And I'm glad we got TJ. He's getting just over 8 mil a year, and only 15 of i is guaranteed. Houshmenzadeh, branch and Burleson is a good starting 3.

I agree, say what you want about the eagles managment but fact of the matter is they make good business decisions, not popular ones. A 5 year deal on a 35 year old free safety who has already played 13 years doesn't make sense to me.

But hey look on the bright side Stacey Andrews is a great addition.

And since I on the subject of managment what the fuck are the redskins thinking. They came into free agency with only like 8 million in cap space and they are throwing money around. How are they going to be able afford all these guys AND sign their draft picks.

Lol, win and a loss for Denver today.... They get my man Bdawks. But they apparently dangled Jay Cutler as trade bait. They proposed a three way deal to get Cassel from NE, Cutler to TB, then NE would get the TB draft pick. Now Jay wants out. Fucking idiots, Id take Cutler over Cassel any day of the weak. This Patriots connection is fucking stupid, and it ruined their relationship with a stud QB.

I dont know, that makes it easier. Id have loved to see Bdawks retire as an Eagle, that is for sure. IT sickens me to see a diferent logo behind his head on ESPN. but a 5 year deal? No thank you. As much as I love that man, I love a winning team more. Jim will be back next year, hes already been through cancer treatment before, he'll be fine again this year. Our defense is in the right stage. It is youthful, but no longer young. I think we will be fine on the leadership front. We just have to worry abou the TALENT side of this.

It is done now. Dawkins is a bronco. 5 year deal worth $17 million, $9 million in gaurantees.

I think alot of players on the eagle defense overachieve for 2 reasons, Jim Johnson and Dawkins leadership. Now with Dawkins gone and Johnson's future in question I am worried.

I also don't think Dawkins will do as well in Denver. Sad day for Eagle fans.

I sure hope so, there is no way they can replace such an emotional leader.

No, youre right.... I just came back on to report that. NUMEROUS sites reported he signed a 2 year deal with Denver. ESPN just came on the air with Sports Center, saying he VISITED with Denver. Chris Mortensen said all along Philly was going to let him seek the fair market value, and they would match the offer out there.

    PLEASE GOD LET BDAWKS RETURN!

The Bdawk deal isn't official yet is it? I heard a report that he had a meeting in denver and then he would give the eagles a chance to match their offer?

Maybe I'm not up to date yet though.

I dont want Housh in Philadelphia. I think hed be a great addition to the Seahawks, though. He really just doesnt seem like much of an upgrade at the WR position, to demand $10m a year. Id much rather have Laverneus Coles for ~$5M a year, than Housh for $10m. Theres a small rumor swirling, saying Braylon Edwards to Philly for a 2nd and 4th round pick.

I dont know how the Eagles are going to replace Bdawks. It was coming sooner or later, unfortunately it came sooner, rather than later. We need to bring in Jermaine Phillips, or Id settle for Jim Leonhard or Sean Jones. Mikell is a very good safety, but I dont think Demps is ready to step into a starting role. He doesnt lay the hits a safety should.

I think a move that cant be underestimated is Stacy Andrews coming to Philly. He is Shawn Andrews' big brother. Stacy is solid, but more importantly he might help get Shawns head back in the game. There was a rumor that Shawn wasnt into the game anymore, and what not. Our line was decent last year, and that was with having Shawn, the best RG in the league, for only one game. So that should be huge.

jflip let's just hope that TJ chooses to come back home rather than staying on the east coast and signing with the Eagles.

Hes obviously not too old, if Denver wants him. They are such pieces of shit when it comes to our icons that get on the older side. Who's going to start at safety along Quintin Mikell? Maybe one of those first round picks should go to a safety.

edit: THANK FUCKING GOD Sean Considine is gone.
