its a pretty poor attempt at taking on the Iphone, but if you insist on not switching carriers it does not look that bad. My concern is the lack of software, which will kill any device that attempts to mimic the iphone.

The biggest plus on the iphone is the aftermarket/underground software market.

I am switching my business phone off of Sprint to AT&T just so I can get the iphone 3g.. its just an all together better device.

It seems interesting but its homotronic they only let you have it with the $100 a month plan.

So the money you save over the iphone for the phone itself is null?

              gg sprint, gg.

iphone intrigues me, but what sort of cost would you be paying for a plan from at&t?

Rougly 110$/month for 500 minutes and unlimited data with the new 3g data structure plan, I believe that includes unlimited texting as well in those figures.

I think that opinion needs to be looked at on a case-by-case basis. I have AT&T and the coverage in my region kicks butt. In addition, I get better in-building reception with my 2-year old Nokia flip phone than my friend does with his new Motorola with service from Sprint (read: dropped calls).

That seems like a lot for a phone to me. I pay half that, but my phone's most useful feature is a flashlight... oh it makes calls and can text though! :(

ATTs 3g coverage isnt up there with Sprint.

I know the Iphone plan is a rip off too but I would just like to be able to add the phone to an existing plan. I am on a SERO plan that has plenty of minutes for me. I dont text often so I dont need unlimited texts. And data, well since everyone caps their data now there is no real thing as an unlimited plan.

Im actually considering using the fact that Sprint finally is going to cap their data plan to get rid of my data card.
                          Im now E30less.
