    Finished the deck

So I finished the deck this week. I think it came out really well! It still needs to be cleaned and sealed, and in some of the pictures there is still some trim missing.

you can kinda see the bridge.

well its not actually mine. but the wood we used was really expensive. there is about 8 grand just in wood on that deck. then the cost of all the other stuff and labor! i don't want to know how much these people payed for it! lets just say there are probably 4-5 s52 swaps in there :D

if you like doing that kind of work its a great idea! you save a lot of $ doing it your self, and hits lots of fun!!!
but on the other hand if you don't like doing this kind of work, and you hire people to do it you will end up spending all your $, and you wont know if your getting what you payed for. a lot of contractors cut some really bad corners to save money! ---------------- Now playing: Beatfabrik - Du Hure via FoxyTunes

i only worked on it. i have no idea of the grand total of deck, but i know that just the cedar wood (i hope a spelled cedar right this time!) was about $8000 if not a bit more. you could do it for cheaper if you wanted to use redwood. with fuel costing a lot wood prices are going up up up because of transportation.
