Am I the only one who didn't like Tales of the Black Freighter? To be honest I started skipping everything to do with it shortly after he started integrating it. The way it was inserted just annoyed the hell out of me...

I liked it a lot, but I'm glad they're leaving it out of the film, it would just confuse the majority of the viewers who haven't read the comics. From what I've read, they're releasing it on it's on as an animated feature on DVD a few days after the release of the film in theaters, and the special edition DVD of Watchmen will have the option to have it integrated into the feature.

Yeah but when you think about it, that is something that should stay in the comic. I feel like the average Joe would just make fun of the movie if there was a fucking squid attacking the city at the end. Apparently the new ending has the same overall effect but with less ridiculousness.

Also, they are the Watchmen instead of Crimebusters.

That trailer is awesome. Still super excited about it. I honestly don't think it'll hurt anyone to know what isn't in the movie, even if it was the original way it was.
