I think that a large swing to the left will eventually counteract all of Bush's fascist/nationalist policies.

If not, it will at least send a message to the NeoCons that the republican party is no longer their playground.

I'm sick of being lied to by people who claim that they're conservative.

Lair, I agree with the above, but because you are so Obama Liberal Socialist, please show me in their political "testament" how this is going to be fixed by voting for Obama?

Also in your idea for the perfect United States, how would you correct this without removing any of my rights that I have left?

Edit to add, if you were president how would you see the governments role in America? What roles are the government to take up and how would the go about funding them? Also what roles should the government get out of that they are currently in and what effect would that have globally. (Economic and Militarily)

    Jesus fucking christ.

I guess government control is acceptable when it's 'your team' that's doing it, right?

From what Ive heard, Obama wont solve this problem either. Isnt he proposing a price floor for gasoline to encourage faster development of alternative fuels?

If its true, I really dont approve of it, and I think it will be to the detriment of the entire economy.

Lair, you can't have everything both way.

Just give it up, you've failed to prove incompetence of a person that everybody knows about.

McCain and Bush have a very strange relationship, and if they got caught in a room with no camera's there could be a a casualty. You probably failed to watch Bush's endorsement of McCain on FOX News. If you did, you'd notice how unpleasant it was for of them.

Quit Lair. You're just acting like a dick, and I want a post-count-rewind for every one who participated in this thread.

Also, what has the white house done or not done to cause the oil market to start to fall? NOTHING! because its not controlled by the Government!

Market responds by posting 331+ today alone, because of what?
I think it's a little late for McSame to try to distance himself from Bush. Bush is McSame's Reverend Wright. He'll never shake that ghost.

Of course the price of oil is going to fall and the market is going to climb.

There's an election on the horizon.
