I know how to make the tax code work very well for myself and my family... I'm not bitching. Again, it's not ME I'm worried about... It's the impact that higher taxes have on the jobless rate, an already troublesome economy, etc.

You're pretty self-centered with your views. I'm glad you're OK, but other people are not. Lower taxes, less government involvement, and allowing free markets to work themselves out will more people better off more of the time.

Actually, if you don't like high taxes, one could move to Singapore, which is exactly the idea businesses and people would do if they are faced with the government stealing from the top even more. (personal income tax ranges from 0 to 20%, and overall the top corporate income tax level is 18%... but 0% for first 3 years on first 100K in profits)

And I can assure you one thing, if my tax burden doubles, I will not be putting MY money back into growing the economy and adding more jobs to the STATEWIDE economy I am a part of period. If and when you have the tax liability I have (and others in my shoes), you "might" see where we are coming from.
