I am a republican when it come to government spending. Bush hasn't been a very good republican there. And this hearing is about GWB. As a college student of a State school, I've seen my tuition nearly double. Gas prices quadruple.

From what Ive heard, Obama wont solve this problem either. Isnt he proposing a price floor for gasoline to encourage faster development of alternative fuels?

If its true, I really dont approve of it, and I think it will be to the detriment of the entire economy.

Also in your idea for the perfect United States, how would you correct this without removing any of my rights that I have left?


Edit to add, if you were president how would you see the governments role in America? What roles are the government to take up and how would the go about funding them? Also what roles should the government get out of that they are currently in and what effect would that have globally. (Economic and Militarily)

The failure of logic isn't the lack of concern currently, but rather "I am already not happy, how much worse could it get?"

Obama has goals to increase socialism and increase government regulation of the lifes of Americans. The current administration just reacted to issues such as terrorism or credit crisis...
