One thing that I think about is what if you purchase a used laptop and the PO was a child porn junkie- and there is still evidence of the material. If US customs finds everything that was deleted from that computer within the last 4 years the new owner is in trouble unless he can find a reciept.

I travel considerably and its fucking funny the shit I run into (or dont run into).

On countless occasions I have forgotten to remove that stupid little bag of shit I could still make into a bomb using some duct tape and a bottle of water I could buy post security. Only ONCE have I been called on it.

Same thing with a large camera. An SLR with some fairly serious nanocoated glass. Sometimes it will get me pulled and sometimes it wont.
