Putting the "G" in Grandpa since 2008
LOL - Yea, good luck with that. I'd ask more details - but I'm afraid too.

10pm and it's finally cleaned up...

              Damn...

The aquarium was indeed under warranty and has been replaced...

All's Well, that ends well (as my buddy Bill Shakespeare says).

I know your pain. We keep a tank at my office that has been a royal pain in the ass for the last 5 years. 400 gallon reef tank with 125 sump. It's more stable, but when things go they go. The main circulation pump crapped out over night and killed some fish. Our corals cause most of the problems. They touch and try to kill each other, like kids on a bus for too long.

All I'm saying is, someone has always got it worse than you, as this thread has proven with Luke's response.

Nice tank! Got any pictures of it? We had/have a room full of aquariums for breeding, but right now it has seen better days.

Heed my advice from someone who knows- You need to call ServiceMaster or some other flood restoration company. 30 gallons of fishtank water is going to smell pretty bad once the bacteria and mildew start to set in and there isn't much that you will be able to do with the shop vac. Either that or take up the carpet and throw it away. If you call them soon enough, you might be able to save the carpet but the padding has to be disposed of.
