damn, this shit is going to be gold for title and artist references.. Tapes and cd's have long since become a victim of shady peeps and time. Not everyone "comes clean" haha..

Oh man I <3 this thread. I'll limit myself to one song per post so this thread stays alive for a while. haha.

I always thought r3v was run by rockers. =D

See, for those of us who were in it WAY back in the day, the shit there IS the "new stuff" when "they stopped making good rap"...Cool J with "I can't live without my radio" and "Going Back To Cali", Run-DMC, BB's Licenced to ill, the D.O.C., the way more mainstream stuff like Young MC (STILL fucking dope, that kid ripped),Even Hammer, back when he was MC Hammer (yes, I have "Let's Get It Started") shit, I still have the copy of "Paid In Full" I bought in '87...

I guess what I am saying is when you have boys coming up like Atmosphere, J-5, Blacalicious and whatnot coming along good rap is still around, but will always evolve.

Want some history? Listen to the "first" (yeah right, Bessie Smith rapped in 1922, IMO) rap song: "Chocolate City" by Parliament

And yeah, people do bug out when I drive by dropping Tech or some NAS or whatever, like what the fuck is that old guy listening to that shit for!

                              Closing SOON!
"LAST CHANCE FOR G.A.S." DEAL IS ON NOW
