I fuckin love Vtec man no shame here.

Its a brilliantly designed motor. E30's are not beasts, but fun to drive. Same here with this Mini.

I've driven a mk 2 mini. It only had 40hp, but I think it may have been the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel.

The same car has since had a 100hp motor swap with disc brakes, but I haven't driven it again.
Not that I care, of course.

That's why i love my CRX. Same motor only 12:1 comp. ~175hp pushing ~2200lbs.

It does get a little scary though when you take it up there. Not a huge sense of security like a larger, heavier car gives you. I can't imagine going through some of those turns like him.

175whp or crank? What camshafts/headwork? Must be a fun car. :)

Awesome video IlDuce...I've seen a local guys B18B Austin Mini, but never caught a ride. Reminds me of S14/2002's....the car the engine belonged in. The E30 M3 was too heavy for that motor, much like the '96-on Civic was too heavy for the little B16.
