African americans are 13% of the country, but African american women have had 30% of the nation abortions. 43% of their pregnancies end in abortion.

Publicly funding abortion is nearing publicly funding Eugenics.

Not that people should have babies they cannot afford, but it's a touchy subject when you take that into account... and who knows how Obama can walk it being pro-choice.

I'm surprised that someone who would actually bring up African American abortion rates would have a problem with high African American abortion rates.

I guess I should file that one under "Irony".

I don't hate Palin. I think her politics are misguided and completely ineffective. She would make a terrible leader, and I don't want her anywhere close to the White House.

Editted for me. He'd be a great inspirational speaker at graduations, but in no way is ready or good for the White House.

He's a good example of living the American dream, and can inspire being an african american male from a single parent... but that doesn't mean he should be voted for as the leader of the free world.

I'll take a Harvard-educated African American over an ancient white guy who finished fifth from the bottom of his class and his redneck political neophyte sidekick.

Obviously you don't care for people of color.

Uh huh. Being concerned that supporting abortions is supporting Eugenics is the opposite of Obama's stance on freedom to kill people of color.

I don't support abortions. I support the freedom to choose whether or not to have one.

Where do you get your data?

I did a search and found this

" According to the CDC, since 1973, the year of the Supreme Court Decision Roe vs. Wade, 13 million (13,000,000) African American lives have been lost to abortion. The CDC reports that of the approximately 4000 abortions that are performed daily in the United States, 1452 of them are performed on African American women and their pre-born children. This means that although African Americans represent only 12% of the population of the United States, they account for 35% of the abortions performed in this country."

I doubt their figures which are worse than yours, both are stated as if they were irrefutable.

First saw it in some pro-life insert in the paper but found similar numbers elsewhere. He's a link to the CDC: http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/ss5511a1.htm

                        table:
