that would be great advice for you to take

It's seems the fool doesn't value education... what a surprise

Your quote is actually an adaptation from a proverb.
    Proverbs 17:28
"Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent."

And I like the Abraham Lincoln version better:
""It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

It was very well done, and well delivered.

She is now on the center stage, but now she has to step up. She made herself out to be a leader - now she has to face the music and prove it.

I think she will rip Biden a new one. She doesn't appear to "play nice". Biden is going to think he can walk all over her and she isn't going to take an ounce of his shit. She is hot, but I think she is going to verbally "punch like a man" when push comes to shove.

She's also right about hockey moms - when I played hockey, they were ruthless.

Next to you, anyone looks 'inteligent'. A computer has a hard time finding homonyms, as apparently do you.

Since Obama wants to unfairly attack an industry that has moderate profit margins and experienced revenue growth due to rising commodity prices, I would say that Big Oil was already going to vote for McCain. The real question is if the nation on average is as moronic as you and believes that oil companies should be punished because crude's prices have gone up so greatly with global demand on the rise. Taxing them and having transfer payments go out to consumers won't end well - high retail prices and job cuts. It will also help drive out independent retailers even more, and leave only the big guys around. Without the benefit of full integration along the value chain and drilling off of Texas or other places domestically, they will be hurting - companies such as co-ops which represent some of those middle class people Obama is trying to cater to.

Obama's bribes sound great to the uneducated, but really mean bad news to the economy and will negatively affect everyone. $2000 cash to a family means little if their jobs are cut.

She has no foreign relations experience. She has barely even been out off the USA. I have been to England, France, Belgium, Germany, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Scotland and I’m not a VP. As a VP this is not a good thing. What if McCain dies of a hart attack or something drops out of the sky and kills him? Who is going to handle Iraq and Afghanistan? Who is going to handle Russia and china? She has also only been a governor for about tow years and has no other important history as a politician. She has minimal experience debating, and negotiation. Personally I’m not that happy with McCain choice. Ok she will maybe pull in the woman's vote, but it is not like she will get the Clinton crowd they are democrats. She has no work history so union people are out of the picture. There are a very small percentage of black people in Alaska. Not to mention who gives a dam about Alaska? Also all of Alaska’s votes were going to McCain to start with because they are very republican so she is not drawing in many if any fringe votes.
I’m thinking, "You are the weakest link." McCain could have made a much stronger choice!

Better? Hopefully the spelling is good enough that rwh11385 can fallow the train of thought. I know he has a hard time some times. Maybe I will start posting in single sentences so that his brain dos not get overloaded.

maybe i can't spell worth a dam but at least i can say something worth paying attention to.

sorry for the spelling! i really am! i am really dyslexic. that is no excuse for bad spelling, i know, and i do not like to use it as such. i work every day to get better at spelling. everyone has their week points, and spelling is mine. i spell check a lot, but will make a better effort in the future.
If you can't spell, I doubt you can understand any involved concepts, so your "insights" in a political discussions are as useless as John Madden's comments during a football game.

I would say that things are pretty laid back around here. But posting something so stupid as our friend did here, I think the mods just sit back and let us flame him instead of banning a potentially helpful poster. This is the off topic lounge, you need to have some amount of asscockery here or it will rear its ugly head in the important forums.

In forums where I seek political or philosophical insight, I usually read more than post. So I wouldn't ever ask the mods of a car forum to ban people who make idiot posts when they're just trying to blow off some potentially harmful e-steam.

None of this matters because she's good people (meaning she's accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior and she likes to skin moose in her basement). Let's talk about Obama's tax plan instead.
Seriously, if I told a lie like that to an audience of millions of Americans, I would wake up the next morning and shoot myself in the head out of shame.

I will accept the idea that Obama's tax plan has problems. I would like for the Republicans in this thread to acknowledge that Palin is a psychopathic liar. Seriously, how do Palin and McCain stand in front of people and say that she's all about eliminating government earmarks. There's no way to say that she didn't knowingly lie her ass off to cheering crowds.

    Bearing in mind
that you are a democrat, it makes sense that you have an absolute lack of ability to type a coherent thought.

Dude I hate to be a spelling nazi but please use firefox or chrome ( they have built in spell check ), while it looks to be a well thought out post the spelling errors just kill the whole damn thing.
