i remember and will always remember where I was on 9/11. This event had a profound effect on my life. It angered me and hurt me at the same time. There were two people at work that I almost killed on that day. One was a guy from Bosnia, the other was a women born and raised in the USA. Both of them had the same viewpoint, the US of A deserved what happened. As soon as i heard that I told them it was best they went home before someone KILLED them. That someone was me. They went home and I promptly fired both of them. By the end of the day I was in a daze. This event was always, and always will be in my thoughts. With that said, I have reservations about what our government knew about the events that took place. I'm not saying they were responsible for what happened but i think they knew something was going to happen. i don't think they realized the severity of what was about to take place, but they knew something was going to happen. Think about how much money Haliburton has made from our government contracts. Before Dick Cheney was the vice president, he was one of the higher ups at Haliburton. Fancy that. People who are living in fear are easier to control. Think about that....

I feel like a majority of people have this ho hum attitude about what took place on 9/11. I went to a birthday dinner tonight with a wide variety of ages and people and I was the only one that brought it up. I asked my GF's nieces if there teachers said anything to them about the significance of today and only 1 said that 1 of there teachers said anything. Why is that? i know that I have. not necessarily dwelling, but thinking about the shit that went down today 7 years ago. I have much hatred for the sub-human pieces of shit that carried this out. That's all i have to say about that......

your location says you live in Vancouver. You don't even live here. so, go fuck yourself (on the Canadian side) and quit pretending you are somehow "enlightened" because you think the U.S. created the worst attack on foreign soil the U.S. has ever seen. Go back to your sci-fi and V for Vendetta kind of conspiracy movies and leave the rest of the world, or at least the U.S., to those that live in it you IGNORANT ARROGANT PRICK

I cannot believe that you guys can take a serious subject as this and turn it into typical r3v bitch slap contest.

The original poster explicitly asked to keep this thread civil and without the bullshit and of course the 9/11 videos show up, the bitching starts and another intelligent thread down the shitter.

I personally feel a deep pain inside when I know that so many people died. And whatever your beliefs are, you should have the decency to at least show some respect.

What makes it even more painful is the reason they died. No matter what you believe was the reason for the event or who was responsible, all those people died a needless death and to what end? Thats the sad part.

        9/11 RIP

and as a matter of fact, i will. see..i was brought up to view things from both angles. you know, to see and figure out what and why the other group thinks that way. but you, you on the other hand are just probably too scared to venture into the other side of the issue. and youre right, that 'troofer' bullshit..is actually bullshit. why dont you actually go and try to be open minded for once.
Is there some website your handbook they handout to you losers that tell you these same pathetic rebuttals to use in defense to anyone questioning your ideas? Also all because you have family, parents, brothers or a boyfriend who serves in the military doesn't make you patriotic. Its d-bags like you who stand outside Safeco Field in Seattle and spout BS like this about "What really happened". I had to stop my friend who is on his third tour in Iraq from killing a d-bag like you because the guy told us that anyone who's died in Iraq has died for nothing. Well that didn't sit too well with my buddy who's had four of his closest army buddies killed.

Libs talk about how people should be able to do what they want but that only applies if you do what they want. I hate how they feel a need to enlighten all of us ignorant people with the "truth". Keep it to yourself. If I want to know about it I can listen to NPR....oh wait NPR failed because it sucks ass. Forcing your values on someone else is BS. I can't even buy normal light bulbs at the store anymore because they aren't "green". I can only get florescent lights now and just an FYI: you're affecting me big time with that because that lighting can cause migraines in people who are prone to them which I happen to be. Its debilitating to me. Yes it sounds lame but its a fact. If I can afford things I should be able to buy them. On the flipside of things though, of course I won't just waste if I can help it and I do recycle (just got $20 for some scrap copper today in fact ;)).

....ok I'm done, I'd rather look at gas guzzling car and jerkoff with motor oil and then cum on a baby seals face (the cum softens the fur, which is nice because I plan to club the seal to death for its pelt when it gets a bit more mature and can fully feel pain properly).

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

i dont even want to bother reading all that non sense. you guys are too caught up in your world of 'r3v' and cannot spot the fact that i do love the us. you are all fuckasses who cannot understand the SIMPLE fact that i have probably MORE respect for our country. thats right, MORE. all I AM saying is why the fuck cant you guys just look on the other side? does it make me a terrorist because i have an OPEN mind? I HAVE A BROTHER WHO SERVED IN IRAQ. he has had quite a few close buddies die too. do you think i wanted them to die? FUCK no. im done fucking with you guys. i can see how you guys are all arrogant and stuck up with your bitchy attitudes. all you do is mix my words around. and if you can actually read, i never said that i actually believe in that shit. i posted it because MAYBE some people would like to see/hear the reason why people actually think our own government would pull a stunt like that. i do not think our gov. did that.

I wasn't scared because I didn't understand the gravity of what had taken place.

I was driving down the GW parkway not long after the incident at the Pentagon happened but from my vantage point, I couldn't tell that something was wrong. I saw the smoke but I didn't think anything of it until I entered DC and noticed how wierd it was that there was no traffic going into the city but everyone was leaving. Then once I got into the office, the boss told us that they were closing the entire building and we had to leave.

Still completely oblivious to what was happening I turned on the radio to get a traffic report and that's when I found out about everything.

That is the worst reason to post something like that in thread like this.

Thanks for ruining a great thread respecting those people that lost their lives that day, PATRIOT.

                          This thread is over.

Thank you to everyone who puts their lives on the line each day to allow us to live freely in the US. Allowing us to go to work without fear, to enjoy time with our families while you give up yours to protect us, to post on this forum. Continuing to love and protect everyone in your country even though not all of them give you the respect and honor you deserve.

Hats off to all of you!
