Thats the whole reason that there should be absolutely no drilling. Alaska is one of the last pristine wilderness areas on the planet. I would just assume invading Saudi Arabia and taking their oil before drilling in Alaska.

F*ck that. Alaska is so damn big and the northern parts are so F-ing empty(no trees nothing at all but snow) You could but the whole damn state of Texas in the parts of Alaska that nobody gives a shit about. I know I have been there here is an example.

This is a small mining operation in northern AK. I love the state but I am all for protecting the pretty parts, the other parts are a resource. Dont be fouled by those that say that Modern oil driling or mining is dirty, because it isnt.
