Oh hell yeah Thanksgiving is total bullshit as far as our heritage is concerned, but I'll be damned if it isn't my favorite holiday.

My uncle does a brined/smoked bird every year. Holy crap the whole thing ends up tasting like bacon. A M A Z I N G

but the best turkey I've had is one that my mom tended to all day. She used this method where you drape a cotton cloth over the turkey while it bakes, and basting it every half hour. Holy crap, the white meat was marbled with solidified juices and the whole thing was daaaaaaaaaaang

got 3 more pies in the freezer for the big occasion!!

I have never made a turkey myself.

I am gonna try to BBQ one.

I think the key here would be small piles of coals in a brand new webber, so you'll have some heat reflection. You'll probably have to add more coals every hour.

People are actually retarded and blow their houses up though. You put it in a big turkey deep fryer, but some are retarded to put it in asshole down.

Mashed potatoes, I like the dehydrated ones from Costco. For some reason I absolutely hate fresh homemade mashed potatoes. No matter how good they are, theyre never as good as packaged. Weird, Im sure.
