    Mossberg--I love both of mine

I have a home defender Pistol grip and shorter barrel.

as well as what I call the sportsman special. All walnut and very nice to shoot.

Years ago I had a Mossberg 590A1 (police & military issue) that was the biggest pile of steaming shit anyone could have owned. I couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Do a google search to find related issues with the Mossberg Model seriess 500 and you will see a lot of issues with this model over the years.

Thats really odd, Ive read really good reviews about the 590. Supposedly between the Remington and Mossberg, the Mossberg is the only one to pass military testing and was subsequently awarded the contract for Marines/Navy.

If I were going to get a shotgun with the upcoming ban I would be looking at a Saiga 12. With up to a 30 round drum of 12 gauge goodness it will be one that will not pass the next ban. Sending this shotgun into a great investment opertunity. Then send it to Tromix for some custom work.

Saiga's are going for about $550 to $600 stock and the full Tromix custom will set you back about $1750 or so and 18 month back order! Picture of Tromix full custom SBS. http://www.tromix.com/saiga.htm

Yeah, the 590's are supposed to be crap. The 500 and the 870 are both great, reliable shotguns.

My home defense tool is an 18in. barreled 870 with #4 shot shells.

I dig that Siaga. I like the SAW grip. The folding stock reminds me of the HK UMP.

Its all good. I like to go to the Bushmaster site and drool all over their sniper rifles and 50 cal shit.

If you havent seen it, I would definately encourage you to take a look. *edit* Is the Mossberg site ungodly slow for anyone else? Ive tried the last 2 days and it takes forever to load.

you can get on youtube and find some good videos.

this video is a Class 3 weapon, meaning law enforcement or Class 3 dealer with a demo letter is able to obtain one in Full auto. Anyone can purchase the 20 round drum for their semi-auto Saiga!

                            Enjoy!

I would totally get a broken gun over a pump. Style points yo.

Pumps are a lot more practical though, and it's always satisfying to cycle the action.

And I can't stand synthetic stocks.
Not that I care, of course.
