i dont go out to eat much anymore ...that sucks....and i used to go on rides with my girly adleast 2x a week....now we pretty much never go :(

Oh and making sure all the lights are out when not in use saves on bills too. That and those light bulbs that use half as much energy and are super cheap:

i started using those bulbs a couple of years ago. they are all i use in the house for a while now. they will make a big difference in your bills too!

thats great for an hourly wage foot locker employee whose paycheck is the same every week.
the shoe store is still making money when you go on your vacations. when you have to shut down an empire like mine to go on vacation there are hundreds of people thrown into chaos and financial hardship

we stopped using the A/C in our house unless it gets over like 90, and everyone has to be home for one person to turn on the A/C

With no steady source of revenue right now (i.e. unemployed), I'm cutting back on pretty much everything. Some examples include....



Currently looking to change cell phone service provider & reduce monthly usage (out of contract now so no cancellation fee)

Grocery shopping - store brands whenever possibe and clipping coupons

Absolutely no unnecessary driving (even with the lower cost of fuel) and combining trips as needed

Since I'm driving less I contacted my car insurance company and reduced the estimated mileage for the year.....saved a little

Brew coffee at home - only go out for coffee if I'm meeting up with friends

Every meal is at home - no going out unless meeting with others

Only making the most critical repairs on the car.....no mods, no track days anytime soon

I seldomly drink as it is, but I'm cutting back on that too

Shaving every other day versus everyday - blades be pricey

ALL purchases are done with cash....no using the credit card unless an emergency



Not looking forward to Christmas this year.
