I eat three things on Tday, besides dessert. Turkey, Mashed taters, and rolls. Nothing more, nothing less. So I will be stuffing my beautiful face full of this delicious bird. I will also be watching my Eagles destroy the Cardinals of the Arizona.

I'll be entertained by my in-laws in many and varied ways...

My favorite part is watching their herculean effort maintain the ruse that they don't hate me even in the face of my total lack of effort to disguise my true feelings towards them...

It gets even better when they get a little buzz on...

Going over to my uncle's house and doing the big family thing there.

My dad & I break out the deep fryer on one of the turkeys, then we do another regular one with the stuffing and the whole bit. And lots of pie. Mmmmm pie.......

Going into the lab for a couple of hours to work on a grant due Monday, then having a bunch of graduate students who are stuck here over for a feast. I'm cooking ham, mashed potatoes, green beans w/sauteed almonds, falafel and other tasty stuff. Lots of beer/wine, too.

I love Thanksgiving. I wish my family wasn't half way across the country (TX vs. DE), but as long as I get to spend some time bullshitting with good people, eating too much and enjoying the day, it is all good.

Well, I made turkey stock. I did not make any roux but I will first thing tomorrow. I forgot to get limes for the salsa.

Most of the day I went shopping. Got some shoes and some jeans.

Amen brotha. Me and a bunch of other guys are getting together to cook, then chill out for the rest of the day. I'm about to go make Sweet Potato Casserole.

I just got back from one of the more memorable thanksgivings in recent memory..

went over to a friends house whose mom was in town, had a pretty good time. I made up some sweet potato casserole that was pretty good, and all the food there was fantastic. Hung out there for a while drinking beer and bullshitting, then had a 5 hour long bonfire at the beach. 72 degrees outside, clear night, big fire, cool people. It was honestly one of the best times I think I've had since living in Corpus.

Got home about 30 minutes ago - had to shuttle two people home because they had too much wine :-P I am stuffed....probably going to skip breakfast in the morning. Definately going to the gym and burn off some the feast.

Oh yeah - staying waaaay clear of any malls. Too much madness for my tastes.
