The independent shop i work at has dropped off a little, but still have enough to get by. My friend who works at a multi-make shop is booked solid for a month and has been working mad overtime. So i dunno...

yea, should of clarified. the dealerships are crapping.
i worked in the body shop, so it wasn't because of the high labor rates they charge for work.

i am going to go talk to the independent Porsche shop i used to work for tomarrow to see if i can get something there.

Someone just told me the government just released an official announcement:

"WE ARE IN A RESCESSION"

I guess they passed this along in case you've been off planet or something...

I'm pretty sure that the only reason I'm busy is that a bunch of shops went out of business in this area.

I have been semi-laid off for 3 weeks now from the independent shop I work at. My side business of selling car parts has been slow too.

Things have been decent for us. There were a bunch of cars dropped off this morning too. We just need a big ice storm now.

don't they tend to total most of the cars that are in snow related crashes? (IE too much damage)
(a tech i worked with from the PNW, told me that. )
