Business if pretty steady at TNG. When we aren't packed with the everyday work, we've got two customer project cars to work on right now.Comment

I restored a chocolate brown/gold '75 Carerra between January and February. I got some good seat time during the process, and that car is nothing short of amazing. They did a great job with that car for the day and age. Considering that it is just a 2.7l lump in the back, it goes nicely.
We have an '84 Carrera 3.2l in now for the clean-up process. It is a rocket. Very nice.
I've seen my fill of beat up ones. We have a northern daily driven '73 911t with a hotted-up carbed 2.4l motor. I think I spent two weeks (off and on) making panels and welding that thing back together. We now have a Katrina car in the shop, a '78 SC. I never knew that salty water could do that much damage to a stationary metal object in a garage..
Needless to say, I would never do that much work to my own car. I'd rather start with a better piece.
as far as parts i have some turbo calipers (996), 911 rear steel calipers, 911 carrera rear brembo single piston calipers (kind of rare), 996 TT hid light assembly new!!!, 997 hid headlight used with one tiny chip, mechanical CIS airfilter housing, 914 gauges, 911 speedos, tachs some other misc, early 912 flywheel (getting harder to find), correct early carrera 16x7 gold fuchs, and a bunch of misc stuffseien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

Greg, can you take some shots of the 996 calipers?
If you have a price on them, LMK. I think that is what I want for calipers for the BBK.Comment

yea, but you may have problems finding a rotor wide enough to accommodate them though.
i was going to do the same thing with them. first on my jetta, then on the BMW. had some conversations with lee about sourcing a rotor and wilwood doesn't make one wide enough.
i am probably going to go with his new BBK soon, it seems to be the best bang for the buck.
the 2nd gen dodge viper calipers i have might be better suited to what you want to do. (they are also 4 piston Brembo, similar to the 944 porsche turbo calipers)seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen
