when i bought this POS in 99 i didnt own a plow or even need one. i didnt own a car trailer either or even a BMW so i thought this truck was overkill then. i was pricing chevys this morning before i found out how much loot it will take to fix this. id still get a gas truck. i just dont do enough to warrant the diesel. i eriously hate the thought of spending money on a truck but its a necessary evil. id much rather buy a badass car

Understandable but knowing how you are on here I am sure you will enjoy the shit out of dieseling hybrid cars on the roads.

Dieseling = lining up your tailpipe and blowing black exhaust smoke all over the hybrid or slow driver, works better in the summer time when they ride around with their windows down...

Touche. The diesel engines were generally better but that doesn't change everything surrounding it. I don't know if the fuel economy advantage that the diesel would bring would even offset the cost of diesel fuel.

well i know when i bought this it would hve been 5500.00 more with the diesel. i have 60k miles on it in 10 years. i dont think it would have paid for itself. but im not smart enough to figure it out
