Is diesel really still that expensive in GC? It's like $2.20 out here in socal now. If I had routine towing and plowing to do I'd buy a diesel without hesitation. Much more durable, and easy to boost for more powah. Buy a used Duramax 2500HD or an F250 before 2003. The 6.0 was a POS until the late cycles.

wrong hippies hate diesel in this country. they only like them if they run on veggie oil or pure Bio, both not good fuels in my neck of the woods and more so in Gods Country, as it get gets cold enough to gel petro Diesel with out additives.
Blunt I strongly recommend a diesel if you do get another truck, really if you pull anything heavy at all, I see about 11.5 - 14 mpg while towing 11k lbs depending on hills and time of year. My old gaser would only get 6.8-7.4mpg doing the same thing They are more reliable an more durable an once you mod one an turn it up you will be hooked.
You can find anything form 2000 -2006 for really good prices as they are giving diesels away I would stay away from any fords other than the old 7.3 powerchoke the draw back to them is noisy as all hell inside running down the highway. Either a Duramax (my choice) or a Cummis dodge the only thing about dodges is that the body's on the older ones fall apart fast and till 05 the cummis is noisy too but its still a bad ass power plant
Edit: saw diesel near Gods Country a little over a week ago for 2.37Originally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.
