I am not a 'supporter' of either side. But this kind of heavy-handed response, and the killing of over 100 innocent civilians, will only make things worse. It's not rocket science.

hamas is a terrorist organization. israel shot 3 hamas players planting explosives. you play you pay. what would you do if you caught someone outside your home planting explosives? offer them some wheat germ and a hit off the bong?

The huge difference is that Palestinians living in Gaza didn't really chose to live there, with basically the same conditions of a concentration camp. They used to live where Isrealis are now, and had no choice after Israelis confiscated their land. I am very curious to know the exact numbers of how many Jews lived in Palestine before 1948, vs number of arabs. Let's remember that Israel didn't even exist before 1948, date at which a land was created, based on religious beliefs, and to accomodate millions of moved Jews across Europe, after WWII. Not to forget that the guilt effect was heavily played by the "most suffering people" so that they could get their promised land, as written in the Torah... Fucking religion. Again.
