move where? are you offering them asylum in the us? you obviously know little of the long history of the problem there.

yes, the response is heavy handed as is usual with the israelis but the fact remains that hamas is a terrorist group and acts of terrorism cannot be condoned. that of course doesn't give israel blanket cover to go commit egregious acts either. you'd think the palestinians would have had enough of groups like hamas who are obviously not acting in their interest.

wait, what? what are you talking about? what does someone planting explosives outside my house have to do with this? Needless to say, if I did catch someone doing that, I wouldn't kill then and 194 other innocent people.

Edit: The bottom line is violence only begets more violence. If the Israelis kill hundreds of civilians, it will only further outrage the extremists and make them want to attack Israel more and more. It will serve as a recruiting topic and catalyst for terrorist groups. The correct response would have been a measured response, not a mass bombing.

sometimes its not so easy to determine between terrorists and innocent civilians and while civilian deaths are to be abhorred under all circumstances, it happens. a usual ploy is to use civilians as cover. look at how many civilians were killed in iraq.

Oh I follow this more than most.... Dont live in Gaza. Move to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Just anywhere you might be able to take your family to get out of the line of fire.

"It is impossible to do air strikes without damaging civilians as well. The compounds are right in the middle of the city.

"Since Israel left Gaza in 2005 the Palestinians have fired 5,000 rockets at them. This is the most serious event since 2005 and this is not the end of it."

Marshall said that the international community would call for peace, but added: "At the moment I don't think anyone could stop it."

He added that the initial strikes would have hit Hamas badly, saying: "They have probably at the very least destroyed Hamas' capacity to operate and function as normal over the next few months but of course they will go under ground.

"The leadership of Hamas is probably literally underground now, hiding in cellars because the Israelis have the technology to track their vehicles and will be trying to take them out.

"This is possibly day one of a few days."

Except that none of those countries allow immigration of Palestinian refugees...

It's not like moving from FL to GA, it's a little more complicated than that :)

Understand your point, but if illegals can do it in the United States for the betterment of their family Im sure it could be done there.

In any case, the moving is besides the point and will only cause more issues in that region. The people there need to disown these terror groups like Hamas, Israel needs to be more measured in its response and the US (no one else can do it) needs to bring both the Palestinians and the Israelis back to the table to bring about a settlement. Both sides need to compromise.

Massive Lee.... go watch Lawarence of Arabia...then come back about it to help displaced jews.

The plans and foothold for Israel started at the end of ww1, and finalised during ww2. The NOW israel was nothing, no one wanted the land...and what few people that lived there...where ...well few. The entire "fighting" for land started after ww2 when once tribal peoples where told that they now had to live in this square on the map. When they found their tribal territories no longer valid, and loss of water and farm/hunting land taken away...and some got better deals then others the fighting started. Thank the brits for that fubar...along with africa...instead of dividing the land up according to ancient tribal markers, they divided it how they saw fit...so hence all the fighting. You wanna talk about a country that has royally messed up the world...look at britan first.

everyone forgets that when the jewish nation of israel was first coming into being the jewish people had an extensive network of terrorists them selves and used them a lot.
if people read their history it would be a lot easier to understand this stuff. if anyone can get their hands on it read the chapter Israel: A Nation Born In Violence in WWII by Time Life Books. Its a great book!!!
im not saying that anyone is in the right or wrong here just saying that it always goes both ways.
look up israely groups Haganah, Irgun, and the Stern Gang. Durring this time the british were still in charge of palestine and these groups were responsible for driving the british out of what the jewish people considered their rightful home land through terrorist activities. all the terrorist action by both the jews and arabs led the british to first partition this land into jewish and arab sectors back in 1947. the independent state of israel was officially recognized in 1948 and ever sins then its been a shit show!!!
