How do I kill a gopher!?

Dragunov also comes in a 762X64 Nato...

Odd to shoot if you were taught to shoot like an American (leaning forward rather than tipping your head)

I prefer the M1A1 myself...

But for gophers... Kind of overkill.

I was taught to shoot like.......well I'm not really sure. I just shoot. I touch the tip of my beak to the left side of the charging handle on my AR15, I can tell you that much.

scope mounts are designed to be sited with the left eye if you are in the standard position, so if something happens to the glass in a fire fight you dont have to reposition to use the iron sights your right eye is in place already. kinda a neat thought but a PITA to get used too.

I want one of these, SVD Dragunov Rifle sniper rifle which kinda was what many countries used to replace the Mosin Nagant as their sniping gun. Shoots the same 7.62x54r ammo.

These are popular in Iraq and are capable of easily defeating our troops body armor in a variety of ammo configurations (incendiary, armor piercing, ect). They often snipe one of our guys and then disappear; severely demoralizing our troops.

BS on everything you just posted. Basic Kevlar helmets stop that round. Sniping, I dont care who or what side it is, is demoralizing. Good luck on finding a Dragunov, a real one, for less then 1.2-2k. Best bet is to get an M1a, shoots pretty close to the same round ( 308 in civvy setup ).

Video of a soldier getting hit by your " pierce our troops body armour" round, and the guys still breathing. Shot had to have been taken at less then 200yrds... OUCH!

Most of the time guys hit by those rounds dont get waxed, they certainly are more sore then anything else from the impact. If you want I can have you give a call to my sis who treated alot of wounds from your "it can peirce a tank" ammo and she can tell you what normally happened to guys hit in the trauma plates by that round.

I just researched on my own more and read that often they will cut there videos after the initial impact of the bullet to make it appear that it was a kill when in fact it was not. This seemed to have struck a cord with you. What do you mean good luck finding one? They have them locally all the time. Last time I check they were $8** more or less. I like the rifle because it shares ammo with my mosin nagant and it seems to be a hardy semi-auto rifle. Obviously no one enjoys being sniped.

again... sarcasim is lost on the net. A lack of knowledge or improper knowledge is nothing to get upset about. Most of the rifles youve seen for 800 are just ak47 clones of the real deal. They stopped importing in the rifle years ago...so most are fetching big bucks.

No they had the real deal. I recall the stock on it was slightly cracked. Ak47's that shoot 7.62x54r? How would that work? I think you're confusing me.

I had a gopher problem when I was a kid. My dog dug the whole lawn and got them. It was so bad after my dog my buddy came over and said " who bought the backhoe into your yard"? rat bastards..
