Honestly, I'm pissed Texas didn't get in.

Fiesta Bowl proved Texas didn't belong there. OSU gave it to them with a horrid defensive call on the final play. Up by 4, ~20 yards out, less than a minute left... man coverage with no free safeties - bravo.

I don't dissagree. Three losses isn't a failure when two were losses to Fl, and Al. Ga Tech was horrible, and the defensive penalties proved GA wasn't a natl. championship team. They are however a fast, tough team. Who does Beanie get compared to in the NCAA again? Noshwan. Where will Stafford likely go in the draft? 7th. How awesome is AJ Green? Pretty damn. I am dissapionted in the season as a whole, but let's be realistic, it wasn't a losing season by any means. it wasn't Notre Dame, Tennesee, or Auburn. We were ranked 1st coming in and I think we deserved it. Did we continue to play like a top 10 team, compared to most top 10 teams, no.

Stafford can go 7th if you think, but hes not an NFL QB. Hes a GOOD college QB, and thats all. Noshawn looks like he'll be a solid pick for whoever takes him (Give me Greene or Ringer over him, though).

Shit... He knows how to deserve rookie of the year though. And i gaurantee he wouldn't make a mistake like your SEASONED QB did. If you think that MR is a crappy quarterback B/C of that playoff game, you are in the very bottom percentile of NFL fans. You can't deny Mcnabb made a stupid call. If you watched Ryan's on field presence this season, he mad great calls, in fact, he wasn't the reason we lost that game. If you watched it, you would agree. Did you watch it? We couldn't use Turner, and didn't utilize Norwood at all. And when we did, it was off os a Ryan audible. i don't know alot of NFL teams that allow rookie quarterbacks to audible as much as the Falcons let Ryan. And you can say what you want about where we were in the beginning of the season and how we didn't have a choice.You can't say that we didn't show up as a team this season. Look at our stats and tell me we didn't.
As far as Stafford goes. We will see.

McNabb didnt know the rule, and neither did many NFL players, when they were questioned (Ricky Reilly wrote an article on it, actually). But how the hell you dont know that, I have NO idea. I was in amazement myself. Theres not really any defending that, but its a moot point now, since its not like it costed us a playoff spot or anything.

Maybe Turner was shut down because thats all AZ knew they had to shut down. You stop the running game, and they knew they could hold Ryan. Ryans not a bad QB, hes a good QB (could eventually be great)... the unfortunate thing is hes on a team who will never go anywhere... ever.

It happened to the eagles in the early 00s or late 90s also.... I want to say against the redskins (or maybe it was the skins who tied). EVERYONE knows the damn rule, lol. Its inexcusable, but his play to get us into the playoffs made everything ok. I hope they can hammer out a new 4-6 year contract this off season, so he stays an Eagle. I fear Kevin Kolb.
