every now and then i have to wash dishes at Dominos. that place is total shit. i hate my job. at first it wasnt that bad. i kinda liked it. but after 2 years..everything that has been building up..all of the stupidass customers, getting completely swamped with orders, my dumbass bosses being bitches..i cannot take it anymore. i do more work than any other person inside the store. everyone else slacks off, eats food in the back while im taking orders, helping customers (on and off the phone) and making all the damn food.

as of right now, im looking for a different job than shit hole dominos.

we give the front of the house shit all night long. Its great telling a busser or to fuck off and go do their job. the place i work has a capacity of about 70 but can turn it over 3 times on a busy night, and its beat out all of the seattle restaurants for best restaurant of the year and best wine list. I just got home from my second to last night of washing dishes then Im moving to pantry and doing other random prep and making desserts during the week when im not on the cold line. In april im hoping to take a spot on the hot line when one of the cooks moves to hawaii.

My first job, many years ago was washing dishes at a Howard Johnson's.

I was there about 5 months.

The only good part was banging a hot blonde waitress named Lori, and being able to stay/party/fuck in rooms that weren't rented out because my friend was the night manager at the hotel and he'd hook me up for a room service dinner.

Too bad Lori turned into a cokehead.

As much as I hated that job, it was a good experience and a character builder, and the kind of thing you look back on years later and you are glad you did it even though you despised every minute of it.

I have washed my share of dishes through high-school and into college. To put it simply, I am laying people off monthly. He should be happy I haven't showed up in his kitchen yet. Figuratively speaking of course.

Man I will say washing dishes when I was 15 was the fucking worst.
I worked at a hotel downtown that was fucking crazy busy. Sometimes the breakfast rush from the BUFFET would make me wash thousands of plates and pans and shit. Sometimes I would get so backed up I would contemplate suicide. Good thing the cooks smoked weed. Freezer time!
