Yes, it was serious. In Canada, religious freedom may work a bit different. Yes, they are a "Cult" in your neck of the woods, but here in the US of A it is a full fledged "Religious Group". Go start your auto-journalist thread elsewhere.

It is also considered a cult within the US of A as it is in most countries around the world. And the cult's lawyers are working very hard so that you call them a religion and not a cult. Pretty scary.

No, by our Constitution, they are a religion. Go try your stuff elsewhere. Granted I believe they are cultic, but our laws allow religious freedom, good or bad. Look at the DEA with their hands behind their backs with the peyote eating Native American tribes of the southwest.

Yes that is when DM took over. I was there at the time. But I wasn't there too long before that so I don't know what it was like. Not much different but it was better, from what I;ve read anyways.

The Freezone is Scientology outside of the church. I'm fine with that. I see no reason they can't go on believing is what they do. It's the Church that is destructive.

I consider Scientology a cult. If the Curch of Scientology was abolished and people still practiced Scientology without all the control, I would then call it a religion.

They have to meet specific targets to release them. I don't know what those targets are. Personally I think they will release them when they feel they need more money.
