All I have to say is the thing is flaw less ever bit of it.

Too me a perfect e30 is a perfect e30 doesn't matter what engine is in it its all about the body and funtuality and of couse condition of the parts.

The appraiser begged me not to drive it but too me I will drive it till it hits 400k if possible!

Paperwork. Or this is going to end up being another situation where you lose all your credibility... again.

on the subject of the car for sale - in 10-15 years, people will dream of finding a low-mileage E30 for this price. just wait..

unfortunately for him, he's trying to sell it in the worst economy since before the E30 was created.

Not totally true. Selling something that has been backed up with an appraisal that matches the asking price is a HUGE selling point.

Somewhere out there is someone who loves the eta (or maybe any E30) and has the money.
I know lots of people in the PNW who have paid more then 10k for a stock I with way higher mileage but better shape then kenika's car.

the matter of this topic it kenika's car is nice, but its not That nice.

Ill eat my words if he shows the appraisal but i know he won't cause he cant.

I'm not one to make fun of people... But $10k? You're an idiot.

I can't wait to see you put a new layer of clear on the paint...

And I have the eta appraised at $9500 so kiss it.

My wife has now put over 4k on it. It also got 31mpg from austin to corpus and on the way back with the a/c on it got 28. In town it averages 26mpg.

It was also imported and has all the paper work from day one I even have the first reciept for the paper plate from the dealer.

Once the bumpers and mirrors are paint matched and a new layor if clear is put on it will be over 10k no doubt.

And I also say BAN to EN318ISPDX... JK
Kennie, that is a stunning little eta you have there, but you'd be hard-pressed to sell it for the same price as many S5x-swapped (sometimes even 5-lug swapped) E30's. Appraisal means dick with these cars 99% of the time. It's a weird market that can't normally be predicted. All that said, it looks like a nice little car, enjoy it and please don't modify it (cars like that are best kept stock.)

Oh, I totally agree with the last statement. The guy posts threads to aimlessly start shit.

Best of luck with the E30, don't wreck it or get any spraypaint/Blunt Cum on it.

my thoughts exactly. People like me would immediately choose the posted car over a newer used car of the same price.

i don't know why people are still turning their noses up at etas. They were designed to be practical: they get excellent gas mileage, have great low end torque, and they respond well to upgrades.

plus, by this point all stock E30s are slow. It really doesn't matter what the base motor is, auto, manual, whatever - chances are it's going to end up swapped or modified anyway. all that matters at that point is the base condition.

Believe it or not, right before christmas I met a lady with a Vert e30 in really clean condition ('90) evrything in the car seemed to work flawless, but I almost fell on my ass when she told me that she bought it somewhere in Ventura for $10,200. She thought she struck gold and told me that for years she looked for a clean e30 after owning a '99 e36M3, she didn't know how to go back to american or japanese cars. I talked to her a little more and come to find out, she was having trouble with the AUTOtragic transmission but that was it. Purchased 2 years ago.

The moral of the story is that KENIKA might find his sucka afterall!
