They are trained to use their judgement. The girl is a teenager, she is in a cell and unarmed. She flings a shoe at a cop's legs and he's goes MMA on her, striking her in the back of the head while she is already down. He could have just given her a quick burst of mace and been done with it. She would have been subdued just the same and would have learned her lesson. Mace burns and chokes the FK out of you. Try it sometime, you may even prefer the ass beating.

If you sincerely feel that 'female' teenager deserved to be attacked in that manner, I hope you catch an ass beating sometime this year sick fuks.

There are scum in the world that deserve far worse, but I'm tired of seeing people in power not act more professionally. I've seen way to many mace happy, taser happy, beating happy, abuse happy people in authority to not realize there are severe issues on the "good" side.

The cop was wrong, no doubt. But it was still her fault for being there in the first place. Had she not stolen a car there would be no story. Had she turned her headlights on there would be no story. Had she been respectful to the cop there would have been no story. The ball was in her court. She fucked up and paid the price. That's all there is to it IMO.

It was wrong. And yes, he should have maced her instead. I just don't like the girls (bitches) in this world that think they can get away with shit because they are female. I've seen mutliple instances at bars and such where females punch dudes in the face and shit because they don't expect to get struck back by a male. This girl didn't deserve this treatment for flipping her shoes off, end of discussion.

I completely agree and hell, I admit, I'd feel a little different had it been my car ;) but the fact remains. She has the right to go through the justice system the same way everyone else does. Without beatings, at least from the officers. Once she gets into holding or population, let her run her mouth off and get her ass beat. The officer suffers as well, disciplined, humiliated, fired possibly, state sued... etc

I call it how I see it. I know from personal experience that had I been pulled over speeding to the degree as the poster i was referencing, the case would have been far different. Also, you and I both know that had it been in a different neighborhood, same scenario, this would've never happened. It is the job of the police to protect and serve. They have the authority and ability to use lethal (necessary) force in circumstances that warrant it, however it is not their job to be the disciplinary figures or hand out their own judgments. what I want to know is why the hell the cop would have done this, when he knows that there is a camera aimed right at him. With a temper like that he should NOT be on the force.
