I didn't vote for him. But I didn't realize he was going to be this swift and socialist. I thought it was people over reacting.

I'm legitimately so angry right now.

Some of the kool-aid sippers thought that his effects would not really start until two plus years into his expected first term, then on into his second. I don't think his support he gathered from being the first "Hollywood Prez" will continue much past this year, let alone by the time election year rolls around in 2011-12.

I see no problem with the U.S. becoming more like Europe. Probably because I'm not from here...

As outlined on www.whitehouse.gov (credible enough?)

It's more than this though... we have charity. And we have plenty of citizens that aren't lazy fucks, and do community service. For instance I did 100 hours in high school. At my high school that was EXTREMELY common.

The difference is we shouldn't be forced. WE have freedom here. I thought we had freedom to give or not give as well. Guess not.

Required service in any manner defeats the whole concept of "Freedom".

And, why is it the Govt's job to teach "manners"? The Gov't needs to GTFO of mine and every other citizens life. We need less of this stuff, not more. There is no reason for all this "New Deal 2.0" BS starting up here.

Uhh... You don't have freedom to NOT pay taxes (which go back to your community). You don't have freedom not to obey laws (again a communitary standard). You don't have the freedom to leave somebody in distress behind you. You have to help that person. So, that so-called freedom's a far fetched romantic notion...

Says who? As long as you are not a Dr., or a trained medical professional who is on scene and begins assistance, there is no law requiring you to do shit.
