drugs not used for medical reasons have never done anyone any good whatsoever. all of us as humans would be better off without them.

there are lots of people who can use substances in a responsible manner but many more who cant

de-criminalize it, just not that important to be a federal issue. Leave it up to the states to decide. I don`t think Obama said no, i think(hope) he meant not right now.

i use marijuana as an anti anxiety drug. i smoke once mabey twice a day and only smoke premium. i have heard that pot is a mentally addictive drug, however im not concerned for some reason. i have recently quit smoking cigarettes and ill tell you i dont feel like i just ran arround the block ( out of breath, without doing anything) after i smoke a bowl like when i smoked tobacco, so in my eyes at least weed is no where near as dangerous as tobacco. i have actually been through major surgeries and have had more than one doctor prescribe weed "under the table". much less addictive than the opiates they can legally prescribe you.

and for all you who think weed should be illegal, IMO you are wrong. dont forget the taxpayer has to pay for all the expenses of all of the inmates who are serving 2 months because they cant afford to post bail after being arrested for smoking a joint. here in duval county i was told by a county jail admin that it is close to $600 a day per inmate! FAIL!

I would guess 30% of that music was borne of deep pain stemming from his/her drug addiction. Another 30% is total crap. 30% is a mix of creativity, God given talent, and the time to hone one's skill cause he/she doesn't work or go to school cause he/she smokes pot and lives off tax payers or their parents. The final 10% is classical or straight edge.

my oldest son smokes weed and and tells me how harmless it is. theres nothing i can do about that except hope he wises up and sees its doing him no good. he doesnt see what i see. every parent claims their kids are brilliant but he truly has a genius IQ and is funny as hell. but i can see the difference in him from the age of 18 and 25. and hes not the same kid. hes taking after his dad.

yeah. everyone's gotta find their own way out of the rut that that can eventually lead to. 'swhy i joined the military, but even then you have to want to quit.
