Sprite Zero + Sailor Jerry, when having a few drinks at the house. Occasionally, I'll go to the liquor store and pick up a few 6'ers of new beer to give them a try.
Out to dinner, whatever good beer they have on tap usually. I lean more toward Porter's and Stout's. Some of my favorites are:
Fuller's London Porter
Lefthand Milk Stout
Sam Smith Oatmeal StoutNeed parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Can't believe I've missed this thread. Man, aside from a few of you, it's total amateur-hour in here LOL.
Any of the local guys can attest to the fact that I'm a little bit of a cocktail nerd, but also a student and fan of the trade. I find the history of it really interesting.
My recent favorite has been the Saratoga Cocktail. It's extremely easy to make, and tastes delicious. It's essentially a Manhattan with a portion of the whiskey replaced with brandy. It's from c. 1880, and named after Saratoga Springs, which was a gambling/drinking hotspot at the time. I believe it first appeared in print in the 1887 edition of Jerry Thomas' Cocktail Guide. Anyhow, on to the good part...
I'll preface the recipe by saying, as a spirit based cocktail, you'll want to use the best ingredients possible. A cask-strength Rye such as Thomas Handy, really gives it some teeth.
Saratoga Cocktail
1oz Rye Whiskey
1oz Brandy
1oz Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Stir with ice and strain into a glass. See, wasn't that easy?
A pic of our home bar. As you can see, we have a lot of fun LOL.
