I'd actually rather not have it legalized but because we already have alcohol legalized and it kills thousands every year, might as well legalize MJ. Because prohibition just doesn't work.

In MA we've had a surge of MJ related work. Cops are writing more $100 tickets now than they were catching people before it was decriminalized. We've been getting cardiac arrests out the ass since this school year started with all the college kids mixing it with booze too.

I guess it makes my job more interesting. I still don't understand why people do it though, not like I care anyway.

This is spot on, my buddy is a emt that works for AMR here in tampa, he only makes 8 bucks an hour to drive a fucking shit ambulance around. Like farbin said you are a glorified taxi driver.

I couldn't survive on the pay, and 24 hr shifts, and I don't fit in the back of an Amber-lamps, so I took it all as a lesson in first-Aid should the need one day arise.

Know what my first experience was like? I'd say like h0lmes first vaginal encounter, but I didn't end up crying like a girl in the bathroom afterwards.

Seriously though, I was all worried because of the hype around it that I'd get paranoid, and anxious and not be able to control myself! Then I took a hit, inhaled, coughed a few times, looked at my buddy and said, "Wait, that's it?". Three bowls later, I was laughing my ass off. Two more later and I went for a run because I figured hey, I feel fantastic! I should do something beneficial. 3 miles later I came back, took a shower (best shower ever), smoked 2 more bowls and played some music. I slept like a baby and woke up feeling incredible.

That was an overkill weed first experience. I didn't suffer one of h0lmes, Dino-boys or audio-bitches fabled experiences.

And for the record, I understand that weed "slows" reaction time. A big hint is to drive 100% the speed limit. Don't be a douche bag driver in general and you should be fine on pot. If you smoke enough that you're sleepy, don't drive as it's the same as driving on cold medicine. It's not rocket science or something to be scared of. Now if it's not for you, that's fine. But don't be prejudiced because of what you've heard. And definately don't act cool and say you know what it's like because you smoked a bowl once 5 years ago and "had a bad trip".
