I gave up on it long ago; after my junior year of high school it never had the same effect. Instead of feeling high, relaxed and happy I got all tense and self-conscious. It was no more fun, I think I've tried it a half-dozen times in the last 10 years hoping that maybe it'll work, but it never seems to. That being said I have no problem against those who do it, I have plenty of friends that do. If that's what floats your boat, go for it.

Hey guys. This may not fit in this thread, but I have quit smoking. It was my new years resolution and I've followed through with it so far. My grades have improved & my endurance has gotten way better at crew. I mean, I have a friend who's a complete pothead, shroomer, acid user, but he's maintained a 4.5 GPA all throughout high school, just got into UCLA, Stanford, and Berkeley. This is a kid who quit sports, just hung out at home after school everyday and burned it. Pretty nuts.

I had a kid in my Diff-Eq class that smoked right before the class every time. He got highest grade in the class.


Although, professor was Jamaican, so perhaps we all had to be high to understand lectures.

it should be legalized, but not so we can all smoke it. theres thousands of benefits from the plant, other than having fun with it. why should we ban anything that grows in the wild? doesnt make sense.
just like the salt ban thats being proposed, government should not be able to regulate this kind of thing.

I love the effects (Food is great, music is amazing, sleeping's the shit...) but I have a really tough time interacting with other people when I'm baked, its like there's a disconnect between my brain and mouth and I can't complete a thought before I get distracted.
