Cannabis is good for my epilepsy and migraines. In the next year, when I won't be able to afford health insurance, Im going to smoke weed instead of taking my pills. Doctors who prescribe weed for epilepsy don't have issues with their patients having seizures while they regularly smoke in moderation.
The active ingredient in marijuana cuts tumor growth in common lung cancer in half and significantly reduces the ability of the cancer to spread, say researchers who tested the chemical in both lab and mouse studies.
Just sayin, quick google search. Either way.. I like seeing this thread.
I think its time I visit farmin farbin with some cali goodness
ak--'better' is relative. 'not as bad'=better. Breaking an oil pan is better than totaling your car.
So,
"breaking my oil pan is better than totaling my car" sounds better to you than:
"breaking my oil pan isn't as bad as totaling my car"?
How are you complimenting a negative positively towards another negative when it's negative to begin with lol?
It sounds silly. I'll go to your house and break both of your pans because it's better than totaling your car instead then.
I'm not saying that the negative health effects of weed are good, they are 'not as bad' as tobacco, but to me I don't think 'not as bad' and 'better' have much of a difference when comparing two negative things. Saying 'better' doesn't necessarily sound superior to 'not as bad'...I wasn't really analyzing every word as I typed that.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Stoners suck, but a little ganja never hurt anyone, and I can say I know many people that are successful every day dudes, and you can't even tell they toke. Everything in moderation is good, alcohol and marijuana. It's alcoholism and being a stoner that's stupid, but having some drank and some dank never hurt anybody when used responsibly.
Our finance director smokes ALL the time. Mind you he has a 300k type job. Got called up for a piss test and decided to haul ass to the head shop down the street and buy some fake piss. Dude still has his job today. LAB ;)
I say legalize it. I don't smoke and wouldn't even if its legal as I have 4 kids to be a good role model.

DO NOT LEGALIZE MARIJUANA. Instead, repeal the prohibitive laws and make it a truly free plant as all plants were designed to be!
Uh kind-of general there and if that happens, then the drugs that are proven to be worse, such as heroin, crack, etc... get legalized? No thanks.
I don't care if people smoke weed since a majority of my friends do it. If you guys have the need to get high, just get a medical card. Seriously all you need to do is complain of some type of pain and you'll get the card.
Weed isn't addictive at all actually. Truth of the matter is that pot smokers get bored reaaallly quickly compared to non smokers, so we smoke more. I've been a month clean after smoking for two years straight, a month isn't a lot at all but I don't have any urges to smoke. There's no withdrawal symptoms, no nothin'. My two cents.
Response is kind of late but this is totally wrong. Weed absolutely is addictive. And there are withdrawal symptoms. Maybe it's different for everyone but for myself I know this to be true. After smoking non-stop for about 3 years I noticed that If I didn't smoke I would have no appetite, upset stomach, soft-serve ice cream shits, cold sweats, and a generally bad attitude towards everything. I would feel like I had the flu for a couple of days and for a while this was the reason that I continued to smoke. I smoked when I woke up, on the way to work, at work (sometimes with my boss), on my way home, and then when I got home I's smoke 2x as much as I did all day.
I don't smoke anymore because my GF doesn't dig it. But I agree with whoever says alcohol is worse than marijuana. I've done things under the influence of alcohol that I would never do while high. When drunk I have a hairpin temper and it doesnt take much to send me into a rage.
Should it be legalized? NO. Should it be decriminalized? YES.
