How is it not relevant? You say the education system is on the decline because of the "religious right's agenda" and when questioned, you brought up evolution and how Christians are trying to stifle free thought. As Dawkins is one of the biggest proponents of anti-religious sentiment and how it relates to reasonable, logically, intelligent thought (i.e. if you believe in God you're of lesser intelligence) I figured it was fitting. His sentiments (Naturalism) have been propogated and pushed to the forefront by media and many of his readers. You don't have to read Dawkins to share his overt anti-Christian/Religious ideals as you seem to.
And, I'm not saying Religion should be allowed in schools. But anti-religion shouldn't either as you're seemingly proposing. I'm not sure how someones belief in the soul living on, i.e. my actions matter more so than just in this world is narrow minded or of lesser intelligence while everyone can agree that bad actions have bad consequences.
