I think I drive worse stoned than I do buzzed tbh. Then again I don't really enjoy getting high anymore anyway. Either way if you're baked outta your tree and can't even see straight you shouldn't be driving any more than if your wasted.Leave a comment:

This."It merely shows us, we need to study this further. We need to know what marijuana does to the brain. We need to understand the ramifications. To create public policy and to keep people safe, you need to know what's really happening in the brain."
If we could get some good solid research on marijuana, instead of government-biased shit, maybe we could finally understand the substance better.Leave a comment:

I think it's really become more of a "incendiary topics go here" subforum, so that sleeve, taft, reelop, e30 Cabrio and you could have a place to agree with each other which is safe from the outside world :pLeave a comment:

it does slow you down considerably, ie driving the speed limit or five under... i don't think its nearly that big a deal though, most people i know claim to focus more on driving, because they know they're stoned lol.Leave a comment:

The former chief of police of seattle has a book on why marijuana should be legalized.
never dealing with a cannabis only traffic case is one of this reasons.
I've never smoked, though. So I can't really comment too much.Leave a comment:

People are typically paranoid whilst driving high, which overall makes them a 'safer' driver
ie: Driving the speed limit, being aware of other vehicles.
But I do agree that one would more likely get distractedLeave a comment:

It DOES have an effect, different from alcoholic effects. Typically safer and slower by comparison, but still slower reaction times. The whole factor of stupidly speeding or something isn't there, but totally replaced by the cellphone style distraction.
Not really sure what the point of the article is, if you're high enough to get caught then you shouldn't have been driving in the first place. But from what I've seen you are a lot less likely to be in an accident high vs stoned.Leave a comment:
